Week 6

Do you realize that the words you use have power? Scripture tells us that we can minister God’s grace to others by choosing to speak to them in a way that edifies them (builds them up). Ephesians 4:29 tells us to avoid corrupt communication, or words that tear down others. Make a commitment today to choose to use only words that honor and edify those you come in contact with, and in doing so, you will be ministering to those people. Try it… today… in the home… in the workplace… in all of your conversations.

Week 5

In becoming all God wants you to be, it seems that life’s problems can get in the way. But perhaps God has allowed those problems to be in your life so you can worship Him in your distress. But the question is “Will I worship Him?” God desires that you worship Him right now, in the midst of your problems. God is more than willing to help you, and He has more than enough power to do so; so cry out to Him today. Follow His purpose for your life, living it out in a way that honors and glorifies Him.

Week 4

In becoming all God wants you to be, you must follow your God-given dreams and pursue them with a passion. Many people make the mistake of giving up their dreams to pursue someone else’s idea of success. If you are a success at the wrong thing in life, you are actually a failure. It’s God’s desire that you follow His purpose for your life, living it out in a way that honors and glorifies Him.

Week 3

God never wastes a painful experience. While most people don’t like pain, God often uses our painful times to grow us and shape us. His desire is that we will depend on Him for comfort during our pain and then use our experience to help comfort others who may be going through similar circumstances. Often our biggest ministry opportunities come from our greatest pains.

Hey Mike thanks for this I needed this one. Thank God for Monday’s With Mike, this is awesome! Let’s get out there and minister and help care for the many hurting people!

Week 2

Many people often ask “why?” Why did God allow this in my life? Why do I have to experience this pain? The Bible promises in Romans 8:28 that for those who love Him, He will work out everything to good — work out all experiences (good and bad) and use them to shape us to be more like His son, Jesus. Romans 8:28 is one of the key verses that you need to remind yourself of often.

Week 1

You are uniquely shaped to do exactly what God is calling you to do. You are tailor-made to do what God put you on this earth to do. The question is, are you doing what God wants you to do? If not, then perhaps you are trying to operate apart from the way He created you and are not taking advantage of your unique set of spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and life experiences.

Dear Mike,

Thank you for taking the time away from your Church/congregation to minister to us while we are at our NAA conferences.

I have thoroughly enjoyed your services and blessings prior to our meetings and meals. I was so excited about your web site, that I gave the address to my neighbors. Thank you again for your generosity.

I have sincerely enjoyed the message you delivered at the recent NAA conference in Raleigh. This was my third service with you through NAA. I pray that AA and company will continue with your service. Your message ties together all the important teachings that NAA stands for. God Bless!

Hi Mike, I was at the NAA convention last week end and deeply appreciated the convicting gospel message you presented. I am wondering if there is any way I could get a recording of it. Could you let me know? Thanks and God bless!!

Great idea. Many will be encouraged through your words and willingness to share the gospel in this new medium. These lessons will be a great way to reach those who find daily devotions “old fashioned” and a great way to augment the lessons many still rely upon. Thanks for reaching out to share God’s word and encourage His people in as many avenues as possible.

I like the feel of it, it made me think – this might be what the “fireside chats” FDR had with the country as the depression was rolling on must have been like. Providing a bit of comfort and assurance for the nation.

This site needs to launch as soon as possible. Here it is 8am Monday morning, and I am already a little miffed. Mike, thank you so much for the time, energy, conviction, and love that you shared with us this past weekend at the NAA National Convention. Through your words and example God has shown me that there is no area of my life where he is not at work. I cannot just keep him to the side for when I decide that I need him. Thank you again and have a blessed week. I look forward to visiting this site often in the future.
